LayneBarber
Layne joined us back in 2020 and has since established himself as a well rounded barber and important part of the team here @ Fresh Prince Barbers. His favourite cuts are skin/zero fades, but he's developing a strong interest in traditional styles too. Perfect option for teen-agers and men who are looking for shorter sides with a styled top.
Outside of barbering Layne is a part of the Kaikorai Rugby club and works with kids at Balmac as a teacher-aide.

JJ's passion for barbering is evident through his professional and thorough approach to both his craft and clients, and for this reason he was a must-add to the team in 2021. JJ's fresh outlook and broad knowledge of barbering techniques make him a great fit across a range of styles and ages.

Dan joined the team in 2023 after being on our radar for a few years, since we stumbled across his IG barber page where his growth and passion for barbering was evident. Since joining us his skillset and professionalism has grown to the point where he's trusted to occupy the barbershop on Saturdays and Sundays. Outside of barbering, Dan trains Mixed Martial Arts

Nikora
Nikora is a new addition to the team in 2024. He has recently moved from Central Otago where he began his self-taught barbering journey, before working in a local barbershop. His interests include Basketball and Barbering. His NBA team is the Brooklyn Nets and his favourite cuts include: Fades and Tapers.
